Environmental Hormones

Environmental Hormone Clean Up Campaign

Environmental hormones or endocrine disruptors are external substances that act like human hormones and disrupt the physiological function of the hormones produced in our bodies. Since 1996, we have been keeping track of the distribution of the environmental hormones such as dioxins in Taiwan. In addition to publishing dioxin risk assessment reports and urging the government to look at the problem seriously, we have also held seminars on environmental hormones and organic pollutants and investigating dioxin level in the daily supply such as milk, fish oil and water bottles.
