About Us

The Environmental Quality Protection Foundation (EQPF) was established in 1984 with the core belief that the quality of our environment directly impacts our well-being and livelihood. As a nongovernmental and nonprofit environmental organization, EQPF is supported by a diverse group of experts including environmental scientists, enterprisers, and medical professionals, all of whom are concerned about Taiwan’s environment. Since our inception, EQPF has adhered to our vision of upholding environmental justice and improving the quality of our environment.

Our Mission

Here at EQPF, we believe the most effective way to improve environmental quality is through public supervision and participation. Hence, our mission is to educate the public about Taiwan’s environmental issues, involve them in our causes, and strive to promote the health and well-being of current and future generations.
